Description We caught an albino sep this year, which was pretty awesome ('sep' is what we call northern long-eared bats).

Here's an albino sep versus a normal sep.

all bats, albino bats, afro bats, dutch bats, black bats... doesnt matter wich one... their looking horrible...
But maybe i have a bad taste for beautiful things. That could be a reason for this

I dunno. Some people don't like bats; and granted, there are some rather ugly ones out there.

I think the majority of them are very cute, though. ^^ Especially when they're angry.

It's not if you have a license. Usually bats are used as educational tools, but even if you want one for yourself you have to have a permit to keep them.

ALRITE! but were do you keep it at? how do i get a permit to do that? @.@

My boss keeps his in a big, pop-up dog carrier. He hangs hand towels on the sides for the bats to hide under and newspapers on the floor to keep the bottom from getting dirty from guano and stuff.

As for the permit, your best bet would be with the state DNR or other official wildlife organization. They usually only give the permits to experienced biologists who've handled bats before, though. ><
