Description
This story was motivated by the frustration i felt working on a job in which creativity was out of place. And most of the conversations with coworkers had this phrase on them: "it's almost impossible to get to work in what you love". But i kept working on my portfolio and now i'm working as 2d animator. After all of what happened, i know that you will always reach your goals as long as you keep working to reach them.All music is appropriately copyrighted, and the use of the tracks is permitted by the author Natanel Arnson.

That's why I quit being a journalist and started studying animation.
Don't get me wrong, I loved the people I worked with, I just didn't love being a journalist.

I like the message of this. It's like, yeah the guy has a passion, and he keeps doing it, but the boss isn't yelling at him for drawing, he's yelling at him for not doing his job in his time slot. This shot really makes you see the boss isn't a bad guy, and he actually like's the drawings the worker does, he just had to do his job and make sure the workers are working when they're supposed to be. And of course now we see the worker goes home and does his comic in his own time. It's iring, but it's probably the highlight of his day, and It's wonderful. I wouldn't be surprised if the boss followed and read the worker's comic each time a new page gets uploaded. haha
It's a good life lesson to keep in mind though. If you're payed to do a job, do the job, and if you're passionate enough there will always be time do to the things you love. It's just the balance which is hard to accept.

Great animation. Very fluid with great quality
But honestly, I dont really agree with how the message was portrayed here. Sure jobs may be boring, bosses can be a pain in the butt, but when you're on your working hours, you're PAID to WORK. In here, the boss was just doing his job, which was to ensure that the guy in the white shirt was doing his job. If everybody in an office was drawing or doing anything else (reading, talking, painting, etc) work wouldn't be done -> no income -> no money to do stuff that makes you happy. Basically, you're not paid to draw, if you're unhappy with your job, then quit it and become something you enjoy more, like an artist. I just don't find it justified portraying the boss as bad when the main character here is the one clearly not taking care of his responsibilities.
Nevertheless, great work. For the last part though, the "Will against the system" didnt really make sense here. If it was a will against the system, maybe the message should have been about fighting against 1ply toilet paper in the workplace's restrooms.

That is a very good point.
It's not necessary that the premise is right for everyone, or even if it makes sense for most people, it should be something in what you believe. And this is the point of view i wanted to take, because it's what i was feeling at the time. If you're not taking care of your responsibilities at work, you are gonna get fired of course, but as a creative and passionate person, your imagination just take over sometimes, a lot of times you just exaggerate things, you see them worse than they really are, or better, but that's just part of the creative process.
And that about Will Against the system, that was going to be the name of the short when i started it, so i wanted to use it anyways in that part xD. I really hate rules xD, i know it's a little childish, but i'm happy with that side of me. It keeps me moving and working because i never conform with something i don't like until i get where i want to get and i'm happy about it.
