Description
Athenos is the astral god of Knowledge, in one of his travels he finds a tribe of rare beings, called by him Hominoids. Observing that they are fated to extinction, he decides to intervene, but could they appreciate the invaluable treasure that he will left in their hands? or may the ignorance become an unbreachable obstacle to their evolution?This is the animated prologue of my title project "Chronicles of the forgotten world", it's an educative material, made as a reading incentive for kids

I love that idea as well. I actually have a cinematic to an animation I was working on with that had a similar idea. Not so much the ideas coming to life, but his mind losing itself in his imagination. I'll have to show you! I've been looking for another animator to help me finish it so I can put it on Kickstarter. This was by far one of the greatest things I've ever seen made. That DD was damn well earned along with the fave and watch.

If I may say so myself? What I gather from this short animation is that that bird of wisdom helped the beings. But was not aware that there were more beings that needed help as well and a place for protection. Once this wisdom bird saw that there were too many beings to help at once . He chose to make a manual or book on how to build a protection layer for them self. The beings were so dependent up on the wisdom bird that they didn't want it to leave them even after helping them. However they also didn't seem smart enough to learn how to use the book. I thought that since the bird was so smart that he would have used his power to make the beings minds able to understand the book so that he could go back where he came from. However like anything else in life you can give someone a book but who's going to teach them to read it? Who's going to help them understand what they are reading? And who will help them to see and learn how to put what they read to use in everyday life to help them self? A book is nothing with out a reader. If you don't understand it or taught how to use it then it's just a piece of paper or booklet with meaningless words to a person or being that can't understand it. Yes knowledge is power but if it's not taught and just handed to someone or thing with out the proper teaching. Then that knowledge is useless. End game.
