Description So long...so many pictures...
Someone requested a beret tutorial so long ago, and I was a bad, non-productive person and took so long getting it together that I can't remember who they were! If it's you, please let me know!! :stupdime:

And in case I didn't stress it enough IN the tutorial...
MEASURE WITH THE WIG ON!!!!
I keep beating myself up over forgetting that on the cat hat...hah. XD

Thank you! The top hat looks even better now that I've decorated it.

Awesome! I can see how they would fit a little better on 1/4.

I love your tutorials! They are so easy to follow! I need to create  a folder, or collection or wathever its called here on DA just to save your tutorials and have them handy.

Thank you so much!! I'm just glad they're useful to people! I was freaking out when I posted the first one, hoping I wasn't posting something that everybody already knew, or nobody wanted to know...so it really means a lot to hear that people like them!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who grabbed those mitten-gloves and saw a BJD hat! (And then bought them for the sole purpose of using them for hats. I don't have dainty hands! )

Yes!! They're just too perfect! I would have bought up the rest of them, but they only had one kind left!

That was an interesting read. ^^ Thanks for sharing! I've made some hats for my crew as well, a baseball cap, a visor and a crocheted girly hat. Haha. Maybe I'll try a top hat next time. ^^

Thanks! I'd been meaning to make it for a while.
Ohhh--how did you make the baseball cap?!!?! I've wanted to make one for so long, but I have no idea how to do the visor!!

I used a piece of thin cardboard for the base, then wrapped it with a piece of cloth, like what you did for your top hat. Then I just attach it to the rest of the cap. There are some free patterns floating around Google if you search. It's been quite a while since i did it though. ; It was supposed to be Youzen's but it turned out a little too small for his huge head, so it's now Nathan's.

Ah, found a pic of Nathan wearing it: kogata-yatsura.deviantart.com/…

Ohhh...that sounds amazing! Thank you! For my first attempt, I tried to cut a real cap brim down to size. It was a disaster.
I still have a lot of trouble making them the right size. XD You're lucky you have a smaller. Bjd to give the small ones to! I just have SDs.

You're welcome! ^^ I really like baseball caps, so I had to try to make one for my crew. Haha. Maybe I'll try one in another material one of these days.

Having all three sizes means that they can't share clothes though. :/ But I think the smaller ones are easier to make clothes for. Less material and less to sew. Heheh.
