Description I've recently had a resurgence in my EndWar fandom, especially since its original creator, Tom Clancy, has passed away. It's driven me to develop some new art ideas too.

Before I go into a little pseudo-background on the plane above, I have to point out that this is the model of the plane used in the game EndWar, not the XA-20 model you can download for HAWX (yes, there's a difference between the two). It was hard to find a nice, clear reference, so 100% accuracy is not guaranteed. I also would like to point out that I think in real life, the U.S. would probably strive to make this the F/A-20 Razorback (since they like more bang for their buck, though the guidebook mentions the A-20 is a strike variant of the F-20, itself probably what was chosen instead of the F-22 in the game's universe). Anyways, onto a little fan-made history.

The Boeing A-20A Razorback (which entered frontline service in January 2014) was designed to provide the USAF with a replacement for the A-10 and the US Joint Strike Force (JSF) with a close air support plane that met its standards (though JSF Razorbacks are USAF units attached to the force). Although she lacks the 30mm cannon and loiter time of the older A-10,the A-20's stealth characteristics and speed make it a formidable strike aircraft. A-20s and their F-20 cousins provide the United States JSF with a formidable option for support. All A-20 units are based at Grissom AFB, while all F-20s call Langley home. this A-20, sporting the standard two-tone gray of USAF fighters, is based at the former with the 398th FS, who traded their F-15Es for A-20s in 2018. A-20s carry weapons in internal bays and on pylons under the wings.

For those who can't read it, the plane's nickname is "Ris-Kay Bay-Bay". I thought it had this jazzy, WWII-type ring t it, so I went with it.

Nice one. But I think they have a 25mm or 20mm in the root somewhere.

That's on the opposite side on the plane, so it's not visible from this angle.

I always saw the Morgan, Falken and the UI-4054 Aurora as Lockheed Martin Skunkworks aircraft...

....Especially the Aurora, considering the history of its name...

That would be cool to see the X-02 in real life

Awesome. I was watching a trailer for the new game EndWar Online just a few minutes ago. Is it coincidence?

So, do you have plans on drawing the Eurofighter Hailstorm and Su-38 Slamhound in the future? Just curious.

Also, not sure if this would count as legit or not, but I read somewhere in one of the EndWar novels that the F-22 and F-35 were used in WWIII as a counter to the Eurofighter, Rafale and Berkut. I know that the F-35 is used as one is piloted by a major character in the novels, Stephanie Halverson. Not sure about the Raptor, though.

Yes, eventually.

I've read the novels but they conflict heavily with the game's universe/story (the Euros and Americans are largely allies, the invasion of Canada doesn't happen in the game, and a few other details) so they're technically separate tellings of the EndWar story.

I have a theory, actually, one that I hope to use in an EndWar fanfic, one day.

While the U.S., Europe and Russia are tearing at each others' throats, a third party, New Commonwealth most likely, uncovers the truth, and upon this revelation, the U.S. and Europe enter a rather uneasy alliance, and Russia, realizing that they lost their advantage against the West, decides to invade Canada for its oil fields in a secret act of revenge against the New Commonwealth. Hence the events of the first novel occurs.

The conflict gets bogged down for over the course of the following two novels, to which, an armistice occurs sometime after the third novel (I have not read the third novel yet but I plan on reading it when I get the chance).

And, I believe that the new game, EndWar Online, is to mark as the continuation (as well as a final chapter) to the events of WW3.

This is just the theory from me, writer-wannabe, though.

It has promise, but the only problem is I believe they explain how the E.F. and U.S. uncover the Russian plot in the first book (during some exposition from Colonel Doletskaya). So while there is the potential for a fanfic revolving around the details of that, you won't have infinite freedom. However, the EXACT details of it for the most part aren't given (though I think they did something like capture a senior member of the Green Brigade but WHO did it isn't mentioned), so that does give you a level of freedom. Perhaps the New Commonwealth sent in an SAS team to capture him and prevent war when they caught wind of the plot? Another nice thing is if you try for if the idea doesn't pan out how you want it, both the game and novel have a large universe with plenty of room for fanon interpretation. Perhaps some other ideas could be Canada's role in the invasion? maybe even the Saudi-Iran War?

Yeah, I saw the third novel at Barnes and Noble, and my wallet is calling for me to buy it. Apparently it revolves more around Major Halverson (and hopefully will give us some more on Dennison's defection).

From what I've read EndWar online is imply taking the original game and making it available to a wider audience. A sequel is in the works but has been stalled for a while (a year I think).

I'll try to see what I can come up with.

And I didn't realize that EndWar Online is just the original being brought to a wider audience. I just hope that Clancy's death has not put a damper on the sequel because we are currently expecting a new Rainbow Six, EndWar and (kinda) HAWX.

Don't be afraid to ask for guidance. I'm no expert but I do have experience in writing.

Yeah, Patriots is going to go on (its pretty far in its development), EndWar I really want to have a sequel, but HAWX...eh...we'll see. the second entry wasn't as good as the first but that doesn't mean it's now condemned to eternal badness.
