Of course it is either dinner or enemies(or better armor for them) one gets really brutal then(especially Vivienne, when it is about fashion, there is no mercy)

Is it bad that I actually read Sera's speech bubble in her voice? I think I may've played this game too much...

Heh, that was also the first thing I did, too. Grabbed a different Warden, set the difficulty to hard (which doesn't seem that difficult) and I'm still finding new sidequests.

i think the patch helped a couple things too! my requisitions are no longer repeating over and over for one!

I know what bow that it is.  Garesh or Gareth or Garehedrian or something.  It is the best bow.

Did you enjoy adding all those complex little details?  haha  (I just realized that anyone else snooping through this comment, the snoops, would not understand why I am laughing)

RoochArffer In reply to SporeRedland [2014-12-16 18:12:20 +0000 UTC]

I think there was more than one that looked like this, actually?
this bow was actually easier to draw than a lot of the other ones would have been. boxier.

i dunno, i think it just reads like you're making fun of my having to draw tiny annoying details

Curses.  The one I am thinking of drops off a dragon as loot and it has grotesquely high damage.

Maaaaaaaaaaybe...  No, I just know how much you complain about those things with the "ughs" and the "whys" and such, but they always look good and I don't know why they bother you, so I feel I must do my part to bring them up.

this one was pretty good but not best in the game good

well if you enjoy squinting at tiny details of reference images (the refs i used here i had to screenshot from my ps3 upload to be only visible to me on fb, save to my computer, and delete off fb because the ps4 share system is not nearly as good as it could be much as i love that there is actually a screenshot option) and then trying to translate those tiny details into comic art and then every 5 seconds realizing you need to know what something looks like from a slightly different angle before givin up, saying you don't care, and continuing while really caring, then that's great for you. for example, i can tell you that if you look closely at this image you will see sera's bowstring doesn't actually connect to anything and it should but i messed it up while i was editing the text in the word bubble and forgot to restring it and now i will just fight the urge to fix the tiny-detail-no-one-will-notice-unless-they-read-this forever. i can also tell you that Adaar's coat is missing two silver button things  above the rest of the silver button things and the pink in sera's coat actually had a plaid print.

   You must acquire more bows.

I think you can also get references from the internet or the guide book, for future reference.  (pun pun)  It sounds like you are making this much harder than it needs to be.  You should not be full of stress monsters while trying to work out with your fun side.  What else would make it easier for you?
The bow looks fine considering comic tendencies to clear space around word bubbles to avoid confusion, the pink is also an accurate armor variation if not the one you used, and two missing buttons does not make the armor less recognizable for what it is and furthermore they add so many little bells and whistles to each variant of the armor that one without the buttons also exists.  There, now do you feel better about them?

I have plenty, I assure you

Nyerggghh not really? it's always surprisingly hard to find what you want. i find it much faster to just take a screen from the game. speaking of screenshots, didja see these? roocharfferarts.tumblr.com/pos…

i don't do it for anything else though. tis inconsistent.
i assure you i do not spend that much time worrying about comics after they've been drawn. it's the what to include in it that bothers me while i'm drawing it.

Build a dragonslayer greatbow from Dark Souls.  Fire a real archer's lance with that puppy.

I suppose at this point there is a lack of uploaded information about the game, unlike Skyrim, which has a Wiki the size of Colorado.
I did.  You should know that I click on

I suppose tis.  (Someone was bugging me about why they use the old tis instead of it's and I got to explain how it was the precursor to it's because contractions didn't exist yet)
If you ever want streamlined direction, ask me.  I will point you at exactly what you should do and you will never have stress again, or free will.  Scratch that last part.

a real digital lance huh

yesssss. i was trying to find an accurate reference image of dorian's mage coat thing and it was impossible. they were all different.

i ran past them without noticing at first so i just figured it would be easy to miss

SporeRedland In reply to RoochArffer [2014-12-23 22:53:09 +0000 UTC]

     Digital?

His coat is easily the most complex piece of equipment in the game.  It has so many unnecessary straps and folds.  It is the epitome of fashion.  And all the variations of his coat are different, so the fact that you could not find many for a single one does not surprise me.

I've got a mission now to find books in Skyhold.  I never had that in my last playthrough and that makes me wonder if it is only available to templars, but that would be a strange choice-specific quest, so I doubt it.

i dunno man, morrigan was in that game. what she lacks in difficulty-to-draw-shirt-ness she makes up for in number of belts on skirt

that does not sound familiar to me either? maybe bugged before patch?

SporeRedland In reply to RoochArffer [2014-12-24 19:01:59 +0000 UTC]

Kelsey, you ought to know that numerous belts are the sign of creativity.  Every great character has a million useless belts all over their body.  I mean, just look here on this fine site at all the great characters that were developed with the belt rule in mind.  (by this point the sarcasm is causing me pain)

It is quite possible.  I've also had a few new requisitions that I know I never had before, some are still infinitely looped (it does not seem to have patched already existing saves either), and certain specialization items like Nevarran Skull and Assassin Weapon have an increased drop rate earlier in the game.

RoochArffer In reply to SporeRedland [2015-01-03 03:17:33 +0000 UTC]

creativity is a heavy burden then hmm

mine've started looping at the second requisition for an area?

It is a burden that holds up society and pants.

Sometimes yes, sometimes no on that one, usually yes.  By this point I can only assume that the inquisition is fanatically addicted to tents and geological surveys.

at least they don't go attacking everything on sight like certain guys i know (kinda why i don't bring companions with me on elder scrolls games), and also you get funny party banter, when i bring more than one companion they don't talk to each other... poor nugs, weren't those a kind of pet?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

RoochArffer In reply to Dewani90 [2014-12-16 18:13:41 +0000 UTC]

this is true. though sometimes when you freeze a person they get confused about whether or not they should be attacking it if you aren't.
leliana had nugs for pets though i don't think that was usual. there was a note in the area she hung out at back at the base that talked about how someone was taking care of her nugs while she was working with the inquisition
