Mr. Mime is stupid. Not only is he stupid in the way Magnemite and Staryu are stupid, it's like the creator of this pokemon wanted to go out of the way to make an obnoxiously stupid pokemon. That being said, he provided a unique design challenge. He almost ended up looking like some kind of fruity marmoset.But at the last minute, I thought to myself, "screw it" and scribbled this in a matter of seconds. I have no idea what the hell its supposed to be. All I know is that it is awesome.

I had wondered what Mr. Mime would look like more realistically. I like Mr. Mime in its own way, but your take is good too.

I think just by not making him simian in appearance like most other realistic Mr. Mimes out there. Although Iβm not the only one who used a frog as a basis I think.

That's a dark tale son. It all started in the 1970's in some shady Florida bar. It was Mackenzie, Royce and me. And Paulie, poor damn Paulie. We were all greenhorns, no big loss in the case of failure, but not Paulie. The toughest sloth that side of the Amazon, he waded through 'nam like a duck through water. Never went near trees though, 'cause they whisper things in strange alien languages, or something like that. Uncle Sam was pissed that the Bay of Pigs gig went tits up so we got hired for a new trek down to the heart of red minded Cuba. The target. Emiliano Rafael Cortez. Drug lord and modern art aficianado. Now this Cortez, he swung the other way if you know what I mean. When we got to the hacienda, the biggest damn gay rave was underway. None of us wanted to go close, but not Paulie. It should have been a clean operation, get in, plant enough C4 to level half the jungle and get out. Paulie stumbled at the last part. It was all that booze, you see. It made the trees go away. When he got out, he just stared through us and didn't say a word. We called it the "thousand bear stare". Not even the boom made him flinch and he always liked the boom. Job done we split up and never saw each other for years. Paulie never showed up. Mackenzie said he went crazy and shot up his therapy group. Royce said he went out in a blaze of glory when his moonshine outhouse exploded. But I know the truth. In was at that hacienda all those years ago. The trees finally got him. Those big, buff ,sweaty trees.Β

This is the best Mr. Mime drawing ever! Believe me, i searched a lot. This drawing convinced me to adopt Mr. Mime in my pokemon team, since i choose by how a imagine the pokemons, not by their game designs. By this picture i imagined a very interesting monkey, automaticaly imitating (and psychically antecipating) speaks and gestures in a manner to socialize (like childs do), but unknowingly becoming creepy, scaring people like in the Doctor Who episode entitled "Midnight". Thanks for this!

This is awesome! Mime was the gayest looking pokemon (no offense to gays <3). I totally love how he looks like a Hobbe or a goblin.. Or a hobgoblin!

You just did what I thought no living being was capable of doing: You just made Mr. Mime tolerable and possibly even cool.

I've always said they should make a more sinister Pokemon game, but then again parents would probably boycott the game, and young children would have nightmares. This is a great concept, but he's leaning more towards being a frog than the clown Mr. Mime should be.

But this thing about "liking" Mr. Mime. That's really not something one admits in public like this. Sure, secretly finding Mr. Mime amusing is one thing... but publicly announcing to the internet that you like Mr. Mime -even in small font- that's something else.
