Description I'm sure she won't regret that afterwards...

Finally finished this! It has been sitting around in my sketch pad for a few weeks. Apparently being snowed in has its uses.

Not much to say about this pic. I used the color pencils again and added some detail in with my paint program on the puter. I would just like to say one thing about these characters though...I really, really hate coloring in those damnable little flower patterns on Sesshoumaru's sleeves.

omg... for some reason, the way her hair looks makes me think of Naraku... in a miko outfit *dies* OMG, MY BRAIN NEEDS CENSORING!!! LOTS OF CENSORING!!! ...that mental image is going to haunt me forever... *wanders off to bug somebody else*

It's really cute...but...Sess looks kind of odd to me. Something is out of proportion with him. I can't decide if it's his head that's too big for his body, or his shoulders are too narrow for his head, or if his bottom half is just too short for his upper half. I'm kind of leaning toward his shoulders being way too narrow to balance out the size of his head, which makes him look like he's got a big head, which in turn throws off the rest of his proportions. But that's just me.

Anyhow, Kagome looks fine to me. Very evil of her, though. lol Go for it, Kagome! And I DO like that "Do it and die" expression on Sesshourmaru's face. Very characteristic of him. ^_~

Ooh thanks for the comment. Something is off about him and its been driving me nuts. But now that I've read what you had to say, I think your right about the shoulders...hmm... I really appreciate your insight.

I don't know what it is about this one, but I think it's my favorite of the series so far, and your style seems to be getting more sophisticated. The folds of their clothes, the expressions, and the movement are all excellent.

Thanky. I did a much better job on this one than the last I think. Especially Sesshoumaru's clothes. His armour is getting much more easier to draw and color. The only thing that throws me off are those little flowers on his sleeves.

I am planning on drawing fanart for each chapter (like a summation)...which is quite a huge task, but will be worth it. Each pic will be in watercolor. I need to get started on this, but stuff keeps popping up. I can't wait to get started though, I'll get to draw Rin!

yeah, I think you know about them. I saw the two drawings, one of a scene from "Fugue" and the other one with Kagome trying to rescue Myoga from Sess from "Tales from the House of the Moon." That and all of Rum's works could easily make up a growing gallery for your work. I know I've wanted to sit down and do some for you too (eg. the last scene in Ch. 23 had my creative juices riled up).
I've seen other fan fic writers, Urd-chan for example, create a group for work just for their stories.
Now, if one could figure out how to do that, I think it would work. Although, I'm kinda dumb to these features on deviantART. I still don't know how to add people's icons along with my messages.

Actually, my big idea is that we just start a group that's souly for Res's stories, even her non-Kag/Sess ones, because I've seen art for them. I guess we could also ask the people that have already done work for her stories to post the stuff to the group.
As far as new art in the future, we could just solicit to groups and ask if anyone wants to join the group and contribute.
I know Res's stuff is pretty popular, so I don't think we'll have a problem with contributions.
Once we get the group going we could do monthly contests or something.
But that could come later when the group is more popular.
We can ask Res what she thinks too.
All in all, I think it would be just a good appreciation site for her fics.

yep, I'm in as well. Now what to do next. We can talk about setting up stuff on AOL if you want. We can figure out the title, how to get the word out there, and to contact artists who've already done stuff. My aol sn is quirkyslayer. I'm usually online a lot.
I hope we can figure out what to do and get this ball rolling!

Yeah if I'm getting icky weather, odds are your getting ten times as much. We haven't drawn straws yet. But when I run out of Ramen..there could be complications. *sniff* I already ran out of Wasabi Peas.
