Wee I finally got this done! Not only did it take me forever, mostly because of classes getting in the way, but I suck at using the paint shop on my computer. So after much cursing and threats of violence, I watched the tutorial on how to manipulate mask layers.First I sketched Sesshoumaru and Kagome, then I copied over the sketch with a pen, then I did some minor coloring with a few color pencils. The background and text I, of course, used the paint shop for. Oh and the words came from the story "Tales from the House of the Moon" by Resmiranda. Lovely story, check it out.

your art is sooo wonderful... but i've noticed you never draw mouths on them when it is a side veiw, may i ask why? it takes away from such beautiful work.

I usually don't draw the mouths when I have them in chibi form or are making fun of something. I want the impact on their eyes and not on their mouth. It's just some quirk I picked up.

Wonderful! I particularly love how evocative Kagome's posture and body language is.. Makes me want to go back to the beginning of HotM and reread it! ^_^

Beautiful art, although I'm anything but fond of the pairing. For me it's Inuyasha/Kagome all the way, but I can still enjoy beautiful art, right? Great job.

I don't see the Sesshoumaru/Kagome pairing. Oh, I can see him being perhaps a bit curious (first their father falls for a human woman, and then Inuyasha - not just once, but twice, and you have to admit that Rin looks quite a bit like a young Kagome; then there is the fact that Kagome has stood up to Sesshoumaru, which I think would give him at least a morsel of respect for her; she, on the other hand, I can't for the life of me see anything that would turn her towards him).
Of course, we all have a right to like what pairings we want. I get flak over my obsession with Kouga/Kagura, although I've also convinced quite a few people that it makes sense (and they just look so perfect together, not to mention that their personalities are similar).

I've read very few Sesshoumaru/Kagome fics that can convince me. The plot and the writing have to be very good to win me over.
Ah Kouga and Kagura, yeah I could see these two getting together. He would enjoy the challenge most likely. Plus they're so pretty together. He looks savage and wild, and she looks graceful and beautiful.

One of my DA friends, ~mylittlejoy , did a Kouga/Kagura picture at my request - [link] . One of the comments she received from it inspired her to draw a picture of what she thought a child of theirs would look like. It's not colored yet, but is in her gallery. She also did a gift art of Kagura for me - [link] .
There definitely needs to be more Kagura fanart. Oh, don't forget to check the gallery of *Devikuro , too. She has some really great ones.
