Superman would win, but only if he didn't hold back and instantly hit Hulk with a knockout punch. If Sups held back and gradually released his restraint like he normally does, Hulk would win, because Hulk just keeps getting infinitely stronger as he gets infinitely angrier, meaning eventually he'd overwhelm Superman and win the match. It all depends on how Superman goes into the fight.Β

Demon242 In reply to Ignition191 [2016-05-18 02:20:21 +0000 UTC]
Seemingly, but no. Part of the thing that makes Hulk the Hulk is his constant mutation; basically, the angrier he gets, he mutates into a bigger Hulk, giving him more muscles and more strength, thus why his strength is infinite (at least as far as I understand Hulk. If someone understand Hulk-biology better than me, feel free to educate me. I won't feel bad.)Β
But Superman is just Superman; he draws his strength from the sun and, as a full grown humanoid adult, Superman is at his physical peak; if Kryptonian biology follows the same general aging rules as Earthlings do. As such, Superman's strength does have a limit. He doesn't mutate, he doesn't change, he stays the same. The comics and cartoons have just rarely been clear on exactly how strong Superman is, though he has faced those who could physically overwhelm him. The only way Superman can become stronger is through magic, technology, or exposure to some beneficial form of kryptonite.
As such, in a pure fight between their physical and biological capabilities, Superman does have the advantage, but it will shrink and disappear the longer the fight goes on for. This is why Superman would have to end the fight as quickly as possible, before the Hulk can angrily mutate to the point where Superman would no longer be able to hurt him. So like I said, Superman would win, but only if the fight didn't get drawn out by him slowly easing off his restraints like he normally would. He'd have to fight Hulk like he fights Doomsday: all in from the word go.Β

look at goku V superman 2. they count it. we could sit here and argue the validity of the feat all day but fact is this is on who would win in death battle, and death battle counts it how i described it.

you do know that death battle is not realiable ... right
they even admit that even they have flaw on some of their research
the most thing they do is for entertainment
look at ben 10 vs green lantern
alien x once stated that he can destroy the multiverse woth 6 thought

he did hold it with wonder woman. yes she supported half, but half of infinity is infinity. andΒ you said "If eternity was as heavy as infinite why didn't he sink to the groundΒ It only a mesure of time not weight" but if that was the case specter wouldnt have any mass and thats clearly shown to not be the case.

you know what? lets throw away the feat of infinity altogether and look at what they've both done. hulk has busted planets. superman took a blast thats the equivelent of 15 supernovas to the face without a scratch. hulk couldnt dish out the levels of damage that could get anywhere NEAR superman!

I would say Hulk. And before you Superman fans say but Hulk is or Superman is here me out. Doomsday put Superman in a coma. If Doomsday and the Hulk were up against each other people said that Hulk would win. So if Hulk can beat the Alien that put Superman in a coma I'd say that he could probably beat Superman.

batkong40 In reply to 1999MarvelTeen [2014-10-05 21:12:18 +0000 UTC]
Oh, other people said hulk would beat doomsday, so logically he would beat superman right? Wrong, doomsday would beat hulk via his adaptation ability. And while doomsday did beat superman once, it was because superman solar reserves were near depleted. Superman has beaten doomsday a ton of times. He even took out an entire army of doomsday clones with his heat vision alone. So you using the one instance where doomsday managed beat superman is very invalid. Your argument where you said hulk would beat doomsday so he would logically beat superman is invalid because your only reasoning for it is that some people said hulk would win and you didn't give any valid reasons or evidence to support that is even true, which it isn't, and you are completely ignoring the fact that superman is just as strong and durable if not more so than the hulk. And that he superman is by far the more skilled and smarter combatant, and that he can fly so fast that he could beat hulk to a pulp before hulk even knew what hit him, and that superman can just incinerate hulk with his heat vision from a distance. And by the way there is a plethora of people that say doomsday would beat hulk, and I will actually support my statement by listing some of the valid proof someone listed in order to prove that doomsday would win, his adaption ability and invulnerability allow him to survive anything hulk can do to him, while his adaptation eventually allows him to use hulks weakness against him. So superman and doomsday would definitely beat hulk.

Actually, since Death Battle is known to take combatants up to their maximum potential (unless specifics are included such as combatants getting non-canon sources), this fight alone would just be "too much" in Superman's favor, if The Hulk can't even stop The Juggernaut (even World War Hulk can briefly stop Juggernaut, just briefly) then The Hulk will get oust by the likes of Superman (in an official crossover when Superman & The Hulk fought, The Hulk literately broke his hands).

That really depends on WHICH incarnation of the Hulk your going with.
As if it's Savage Hulk or the more Iconic one.... hey Superman wins.
If it's either Doc GreenΒ OrΒ The Green ScarΒ then it 's COMPLETELY in Hulks field as those are 2 of his most POWERFUL incarnations.
While there HAVE been other incarnations of the Hulk that are WAAAAAAAAAAY more Op... they have either been Retconned (Devil Hulk) or was just gone at the end of the story arch (Hulk Squared)

That could be ANY OF THEM... they 3 that I just described pretty much ALL look the same with big muscles and shit so it's not really easy to figure out which Hulk is which by looks.
I can tell that it's NOT Doc Green... as that has a more human looking face... so there goes the BIGGEST GUN that Hulk had... seriously Doc Green Hulk was easily able to rip apart the PURE ADAMANTIUM BODY OF FUCKING ULTRON WITH HIS BARE HANDS!

KamenRiderHellhound In reply to rumper1 [2014-10-05 03:50:34 +0000 UTC]
Yes... but most of the time Hulk just takes complete control of Banner's body... except for Green Scar Hulk.
Green Scar Hulk is well... Bruce and Hulk working together and not fighting each other or having ANY form of conflict... hell they are actually in anΒ alliance with each other.... so not really sure if that counts as a different personality or what/

Wow; that will be a great battle! The other people here have good points about the winners, but I can't say, who'll be this. In "Marvel Comics versus DC" was Superman the winner, but here it was "Prof. Hulk" and on this pic it's definitley Savage Hulk...

1. Hulk would win because Hulk can take anything Superman throws at him and the Hulk adjusts to his surroundings and everything.
2. Superman needs the sun to charge up, and when it turns night, he would be down for the count because Hulk can just keep throwing punches until he is pleased.Β
3.Plus the fight wouldn't even be going on if Superman just left Hulk alone because that's all Hulk wants. Superman just has it in his head that Hulk is fighting to fight and to cause chaos when that's not what he wanted to do in the first place. (3rd is if they aren't in a death battle mode)
π: 0 β©: 1
LeonGearth In reply to JazzyAndSega [2014-10-03 00:41:43 +0000 UTC]
Your argument is flawed in thatΒ
1. You seem to think Superman cant adjust to his surroundings
2. You seem to think come nightime superman is down for the count when he is in fact a giant solar batterry and there is still uv radiation in the atmosphere even at night
3.The question is who would win not how did the fight start which is irrelevant.
When it comes down to it superman wins because he is more durable, smarter, and infinitely more experienced. He routinely fight powerhouse like the hulk and always comes out on top. If superman can beat parasite, who is no pushover, then he can beat hulk.
π: 0 β©: 0
TheWickedAvatar1 [2014-10-02 23:25:46 +0000 UTC]
Superman would destroy Hulk. Between his consistently higher strength, far greater speed, greater durability, more skill and intelligence, and a greater array of powers, Hulk stands no chance.

batkong40 In reply to Garchompisbeast [2014-10-05 21:18:17 +0000 UTC]
Superman's strength is also infinite, he's constantly getting stronger by solar radiation.
