Description I loved this drawing by Carl Bloch and wanted to try it as well. It is charcoal on paper. Completed 2009 after Carl Bloch.

It's now avail as print....This was done after the artist Carl Bloch who was a famous religous painter. You should look up some of his works including this one.

It's a shame that you haven't got a commetn on this piece yet so I will comment. I really like it. The face is really amazingly drawn and I like how you put the contrast. It looks almost what I imagine Jesus like.
The thorns look really naturalistc, you got the wood's structure really well!
