I am genuinely surprised at how good it feels to get another page of this out, dood. I think this has legitimately been one of my favorite pages yet!
I think the biggest challenge on this one was coming up with a visual design for Pewter City and some of the various things within it. While I don't think it's perfect, I feel that I did a very decent job. #wabi -sabi I guess.
With each page I feel a little closer to rendering Carmine the way I feel she needs to look. One thing I wanted to pay attention to in particular was not making her arms too long. I feel I've done that a couple of times on previous pages. I think the length is much more accurate to a charmander while still being useful.
Oh, and I managed to remember both her watch AND her tail flame! What a miracle!
Anyway, I sincerely hope this return to Carmine's world has been just as fun for you guys as it has been for me. Let's (hopefully) keep this train a-rollin', dood!

Just one question.
That Squirtle have a name? Can be nice if Carmine give a nickname to him. Well, i give nicknames to all my Pokemon anyway.
But call it just "Squirtle" is also more true to the anime.
By the way, nice comic, i want to see more. Carmine also need to train a bit more her Pokemon, so it can learn Water Gun or at least Bubble. And what will think the others Pokemon Carmine will capture about she? Her Starter is upset, but maybe some Wild Pokemon will like the idea of being train for a fellow Pokemon insteand "one of that weird bipedals Humans, them don't even can't understand ours speech!"
