A Nothosaur illustration for the consideration of [link] This is the second version actually, flipped it and adjusted the colors...soo this is the final finished iteration

This is a very clever composition. The stream of air bubbles escaping from the mouth is a great touch! Just when you thought it was safe to go back into the water...

Looks great - you can really sense the scale, even without a human reference. The tail going into the background probably has a lot to do with that.

I love this image. It looks like something I would see watching the specials and cgi enhanced documentaries on the science, discovery, and animal planet channels about prehistoric creatures. *watches them obsesively when she knows they're on*
