A 15-year old boy who is supposed to be extremely feminine.Man, I wish I could wear stuff like this around without being stared at. e.e
Its true I know very little of Kabuki, despite that I did an in-depth report for theatre arts on the subject. I did a -tiny- bit of research for this picture, however, and tried to encorporate both masculine and feminine costume peices until I arrived at something I just...liked. Silver and Gold. Some sort of...dragon snake thing. Eh. It could have been better, but it was an experiment, so...what can you say?

I definately think you should have used marker on the hair, but I love the rest. I drool over that outfit. The coloring and shading is absolutely beautiful.

I love the colours, so bright and clean. And the shading you've achieved on the sash and fans is terrific, as Hibb mentioned before. I also love the gradient tones of gold and silver on the outfit too. Makes them look very sexeh!

And the gradiation on the fan is lovely. But I'm going to pick on the hair. *shakes finger* You shoulda done it in marker.
