Description
This is my submission for the tribute to the recently deceased legend, Dwayne McDuffie with an artjam of his character Static Shock! You will be missed Dwayne. Static is very close to my heart and I thank you for that.

I haven't even seen Justice League Unlimited! I'm certainly going to now though.

The rules of the jam was that you had to do it all traditional. My process was, first a very rough pencil sketch, then I used my light board and tracing paper to get a cleaner, but not yet good enough look, then I used the light board again but going over it on white paper off the previous cleaner one, then I spent at least an hour just darkening the lines up and adding the lightning. The next day I took it to school and made a copy of the lineart, then I sat in the computer lab with my colored pencils for almosr 5 hours, going over it again and again with different colors. I don't actually have the right colors so I had to blend stuff. Also the super suit is supposed to be a lot closer to black but I was not confident about shading his body much more. I hope using the copier wasn't cheating.
