the lower left segment of my big Silent Hill drawing (4 images in all)images shown either inspired by or directly modeled after parts of Silent Hill are: Lyrics to the SH 4 song "Room of Angel" (partially shown), the smiling face on the left, the combination lock, Walter Sullivan's quote "I'm Always Watching You", the apartment door peephole with "DON'T GO OUT!" written under it, and of course the sealed Apartment door itself with Henry Townshend's shadow (I just replaced the chains with wires).
And about those wires, I always had this creepy thought, "what if harp strings could slice your fingers off", and that's how they came about. I always wanted to see something like that in a Silent Hill game, so that's one way I added my own touch into this drawing. You can also see similar wires scattered around the other 3 parts of this drawing.

sorry we put the criticism first. by the time we managed to comment that's what was running through our head. what we meant to say was, "damn that's a lot of work." we don't have the patience to make something like that so large. but we do love it. we just got on here so we only have one peice up, but we're working on a pyramid head drawing. it's on three pages so far, but only because we're using small (relatively speaking) paper. that's the only way we can make something that large. can't concentrate on a large peice of paper, have to split it up. once we're done with that we'll work on getting it uploaded. sorry we posted such a long comment, we can get a bit long-winded.

why don't you put them together now that they're digital images? stich 'em up. that way we'd be able to fully enjoy them.

it looks really detailed and may I ask but is this from a part or level of SH4: the room.

Heh, maybe one day this'll have that many faves. It's got more views than anything I have and is steadily rising, so more will see it in time.
All 4 of my sections of this drawing borrow bits from all 4 Silent Hill games. I think this one has the most referrences to it, such as my take on the famous sealed door, lyrics from one of the songs in the game, this one just gives off that kind of Room Vibe more than the others do.

For some reason, this quadrant of the drawing does seem to give out the strongest effect.

a 11x14 paper in pen & ink with only 1 small nib and one larger one; it took a good, long while indeed! It often felt like I was drawing with a paper clip.
Took me months to finally fill in everything, and even more months to figure out what to add in!

Holy GOD the detail you put in this!!! Sometimes I just feel like going all out with some things, but this picture is rediculous. Why don't you have more comments? WHYYYY?! It's all so jagged and in a state of disarray that sticks to all the Silent Hill games, but less so in the fourth. The fourth is so different from all the others.

yep, this took me a good few months to finish all right, but the wait was the easy part. Afterall, to even understand Silent Hill takes intense patience! That's why the waiting wasn't so bad, heh.
But taking the time to get just the right feel is absolutely necessary! Maybe I understand Silent Hill just a little too much...
