I first saw this in a Warcraft III map loading screen (NOTD Aftermath). It's great to finally stumble upon the original piece. Somehow I find this one more memorable than other macabre works I've seen in the past.

Oh thank you for the comment, sorry it took me forever to reply. I didn't know someone used my art in a game (it was a mod, wasn't it?). They sure didn't ask me about it, but I suppose what's on the web is there for everyone

This reminds me of music by The Decemberists-- very lovely! It's especially eerie how the girl seems evanescent and dissipating, but the fish she holds is so solid and defined.
