=3 it's wonderful. it's because the sky is so clouded... yanno, it's like the clouds are there and in the picture, and it's like you're there waiting for something to happen - for it to start raining, or for lightening to hit a tree, or for a loud crack of thunder - except, nothing happens.

I'm not sure what is more capturing, the fact that this appears to be a serene scenery, but isn't because of the storm coming up, or that absolutely weird (in a good sense) lighting. Be it as it may, you've captured a great view here!

The dark clouds really bring out the green of the landscape. I can hear the wind blowing in the trees and the still before the storm.
I smell the rain and hear the crack of thunder and lightning. I feel the pregnant pause that comes just before the clouds release their water.
beautiful

It is facinating. The contrast of colors...on the house against the grass and sky. It's amazing that you've captured that mood and atmosphere of a severe storm approaching...it's that eerie feeling, that excitement that something big is coming. And yet the house and the objects within the yard are so small and stark against the brooding sky...it really adds to it even more that feeling of the appraoching storm. Ah, I wish we had a good storm coming right now!

this is a better apocalyptic scenario

what are we looking at here?

I am squinting to make out the white
object in the background

is it a tipped over chair?

the entire scenario has a darkk abandoned feel to it
like when your folks sneak out to go see
an r rated film and one is left back to
contemplate the davey jones poster
on the ceiling

There is a lot more of interesting objects in the picture than the dark sky
you can see a ligther grayish-blue sky in the low, then the dark water
loaded sky at the top. A reflection of other section of the sky not so
cloudy in the windows. A couple of trees in diagonal that creates a division of the image
real to surreal (i think). A chair lining on a small table, a little step thingy legs up.
And the coolest thing is the red house hidden among the trees there in
the back of the picture.

nicely done, now i can die happy.

i think it wont be a popular one of you, but i find it pretty interesting. it looks like "they" suddenly left the garden, or escaped from the coming storm. however the low contrast makes it more expressive.

i feel it.

The garden/yard look so empty, although at the same time it is well kept and meticulous, which speaks to someone having taken great care of it for a long time. The sky looks monstruous, threatening? Is that why the garden looks abandoned? This picture speaks to so much.
