It is located in the Alpha Quadrant, a hundred light years 'south' of Earth,
a little over 20 light years ‘south’ of Talos and 40 light years ‘west’ of the Klingon Empire.

It is home to several species: the Nlians, Tkarites, C'tekians and Rylarin

The United Federation of Planets controls the northern systems of the sector.

The most obvious landmark of the sector is the Milorva Nebula.
It is located in the northwestern section of the sector and crosses over into the next on both sides.
Its often referred to as the Northwestern Gate of the Sector

The nebula is known for its great beauty and intricate patterns.
It is also a source of both deuterium and dilithium
All the races of the sector have explored and mined it
