My first fandom gift exchange! I participated in the Superbat Secret Santa over on tumblr, and this was my submission (minus the customizations for my giftee). The original post is here, along with the full version.

Sooooo basically the reason this looks half as good as it does is because I found a great reference and more or less traced over it. It was a tiny picture of two shirtless guys hugging, which was super helpful for getting the muscle definition in the arms of superheroes who wear tights. So the lineart looks good, and I find that my coloring is greatly informed by my lineart.

But hey! I am capable of quality when I put actual effort into it! Too bad it happens too rarely for any real improvement in output.
