Description Well this just sort of happened.
I think it is a book cover for a book that has never been written.

I also think maybe I was subconsciously influenced by a not so recent interview with the most excellent Barron Storey.

Maybe this would have been a book about conservation, or royalty. Or preserving royalty in jars.

I wont hazard a guess. Sometimes these things just happen.

Intense. There is a creepy happiness in this. There is also a bit of danger and hunger in those eyes. Very nice work.

Interesting... I am pursued by the idea of someone running through a forest at night.

nice, (more than really) -ghostly and luminous.. .

, beautiful play of plan / accident happening, a refined messyness or something.. reminds me of some of schmeisser's wcols. similar vibe from the bergs..

Great piece! I tend to think the piercing eyes kind of make the piece. So, there!

There's something about the face that reminds me of a Nancy Drew mystery...there's a nostalgia to the image, very evocative.

I myself was the model for the very first Nancy Drew detective story set in 1931. Okay, I made that up. But Nancy Drew was written by a dude.

yes, i love it when things fall into place of their own accord... the haunting eyes staring from the dark face and the dark recesses of eyesockets in the white face just behind...

I think, I would have liked this a lot more if there was only iris, with white pupils, or no eye detail at all. Otherwise I like it, there are faces all over.

Dammit I got'a get you to read Blame! [link] . I think it would be right up your ally, give it a read'. Gets better as it goes on, so maybe taking a peek at BioMega [link] first would be a good idea to see what's in store. [ I'm not really a huge fan of comics or anything, but read good manga for the 'cinematography' of it so I can learn to make better use of time in my images. ]

there is a very hidden and still peircing power to this peice... the layering does indeed make it seem as the main figure is peering through. I relate to it as a moment in the chaos... an opened eye and an opened soul amids everything else.

Yes, the one from the napkin. Well, you know what they say about people from that place we will not mention here. They know what they know. Ya know. At least it had a happy ending.
