I like the part with with Baelor in the books. Elia is always described as good and sweet, which I'm pretty sure she was, but the Baelor Breakwind part where she couldn't stop laughing at the fart makes her a more flawed, realistic posthumous character instead of one that is just pitied or idealized.

Yeah the other man is Oberyn.
Ser Breakwind is Baelor Hightower. When Elia's mother dragged her and Oberyn off to find a husband for Elia, Baelor Hightower was the only one out of the suitors that she liked. And she was half in love with him until one day he, er, farted in her presence. Oberyn promptly nicknamed him Baelor Breakwind (a pun on Baelor Breakspear, an earlier Targ prince), and after that Elia couldn't look at him without laughing.
Tyrion thinks that's a sad story because if Oberyn hadn't given Baelor that nickname, then Elia would have probably married Baelor, and then she wouldn't have married Rhaegar and so the original war wouldn't have begun when Rhaegar ran off with Lyanna.
