Description
The final artwork for the AVCON poster, it's a drawing of the two avcon mascots, Ayvee and Switch. This 'official' version is actually toned down and purpled a bit, with my original colour scheme invovlving a lot more red, firey tones.

I DID NOT do the character design, I just drew them based on the design I was given, however I did try to make them look a bit halfway between an anime and an american comic character especially in terms of body proportions. In a way it was a good thing, since the original design was quite simple it was a lot quicker to paint than any design I would've come up with.

I did do the mecha design (which is quite obviously based on my favourite mecha anime), and with the mecha I basically designed and posed it based on the available space. The area of 'minimal detail' on the top and right hand section (such as the robot's left feet) are where the various informations and sponsor logos are going to be placed.
