The Tie Hex is the Orion Spur Alliance’s most numerous fighter, with atmospheric capabilities due to being aerodynamic in design. The TIE Hex saw use well before the First Order War, back to 3 years after the battle of Endor or ABE. This starfighter was also intended to have a troop transport model but that does not seem to be the case. The Orion Spur Alliance use these fighters to great extent, putting these starfighters even in the most dangerous places yet. They have Anti-Infantry capabilities for when ever the Orion Spur Alliance decides they will take a base from an aerial assault or when their troops need reinforcements. The First Order themselves saw these fighters as capable as their Special Forces TIE Fighters due to the effectiveness and danger they posed. The Orion Spur Alliance does have ships far stronger but these prove a tactical advantage in every battle. These ships when the Orion Spur Alliance was just simply the ‘Terrans’ after the Galactic Civil War proved to be very dangerous against Imperial ships, including Star Destroyers.
