Oh I will be! I most likely be staying in Eudora with my mom, unless I have some people with me. Then I will be staying in KC.

About two months of off and on sewing, I think the average sewing time for these ladies is 90-100 hours total work

She looks absolutely divine, that is quite some work I imagine. Gold thread, pretty beads; makes her truly look like a celtic maiden of spring.

Coincidentally I just ordered the celtic winter pattern out of those series for my mother haha. And I was going to make spring for myself after that. It is nice to see a finished piece in a good quality picture!

Winter is 'On the List' so to speak, there is also a Christmas version, very similar to Winter but in Red the word is 'Noel' and she's holding a wreath with candles rather than the muff here.

Do a Google Image search for  'Celtic Maiden Seasons' and you'd be shocked at the images, lots of peeps are making color variants of all 5 maidens.

Autumn is going quickly too, the main cross stich on the maiden is complete working on the top borders now.

The gold backstitching adds SOO much! I know that stuff can be a headache to work with, but it was definitely worth it! Looks gorgeous!! Nice work!

Thankfully it's not back stitch, those are full cross stitches that border every fold of that skirt and on the front of the light purple skirt.

I knew it was full cross stitch on the body of the dress? But its also cross stitch on the hem? Those're some small stitches!!

YEP the only backstitches are the border (reg floss) and on her face, 99% of the gold you see is either Treasure braid or Seed beads, the photos can't show how much she really sparkles!

Photos and scans never really do embroidery complete justice. So she must be amazing in person! In any case, its fantastic work!!

Hi!
You've been featured in my Spring journal!

Check it out!
Spring is Here!Despite the fact that my allergies are going nuts this year, I am VERY happy that Spring is finally here this year.  Where I live, it has taken a while for Spring to show up.  It even snowed last week.  However, it's finally here and there are flowers and pollen everywhere. I love all the colors coming out and the way the trees look purple at sunrise because the buds are just coming out.  So, here's some lovely work that has put Spring in the air.
