Description OMG BLACK AND GLOWINESS.
yeah, its DIALGA. whom i've tried to draw several times before but never succeeded, until now.
roar of time is his sig move, i think. spacial raid is palkia's.
done entirely traditional. i made the background super black but painting it first in watercolour before adding charcoal. it worked, i think
didnt take as long as you may think, actually.
sorry hes really purple. mistake on my behalf, but i didnt notice till it was too late.

That's an awesome technique! The space effect turned out great, and I like your linework on Dialga. The contrast especially makes the picture look impressive. ^^

aw thankyou so very much. glad you can see the linework XD because in my opinion linework is the hardest part of any picture, you cant hide up mistakes easily. thankyou again^^

i know. anything done is colour can be hidden to an extent, but lines is so much more difficult and i'm heavy handed anyways

In some traditional media, that isn't the case unfortunately. XD

I'm heavy-handed also... that's why I usually use liners (and I suck with brushes), but I asked for a bunch of brush style pens for Christmas (and got them) so I can practice. ^^
