The dry Central Asia, or Siberian cold world of Evenk was were the Soviet Union had resettled the Evenls people trough the Stargate, all 16,000 of them on as they would later find out was a super earth massive planet which while dry and more savanna and tundra like in most places was actually quit rich in overall timber, coal, as well as gold, chopper, cobalt, nickel and other major resources. Because of that most Evenk settlers would all live along the warm equator area which was still of rather central European in climate comparison to the rest of the world. The immense mineral exploitation possible on this world, while no resources of major interest for the Goa’uld like Naquadah and Trinium, but for a human species like the Tau’ri it was still a place of immense value, as it allowed for a rather massive overall population and industry, even if it had to be supplied trough outside food imports for the main parts. Thanks to the partly massive oceans of the world the ground basis for potential agriculture were there, but the later population would remain roughly around 4 million overall which was not very much for a massive Earth-like world of this size. The majority of the people later living there would not be Evenk, as more and more farmers, miners, factory workers and engineers from other worlds of the Soviet Union arrived. They soon would make up the majority of the population of the Evenk SSR inside the USSSSR that managed to bring in more settlers and keep most control of the world, despite the growing diverse local population. The world itself was also used as a secret bunker system were the Red Army would create bunker systems to not hide and defend the local population, but to defend it’s mining and industrial world, including a hidden bunker defense system that even had a dozen of naquadah enhanced nuclear weapons to defend at least against a minor Goa’uld fleet on their own, even if the Red Space Fleet/ Navy was not present with a small force or even ships most of the time inside the system. While for other Tau’ri nations most of it would have been to delay an enemy invasion until the local population would be safely evacuated, Stalin had different orders.

Not unlike Hitler with his policy of a torched earth, Stalin ordered not the people to be safes, but the industries and machines, either trough the Stargate, or by ship if possible. Joseph Stalin therefore was more concerned with losing any production capability against this numerical superior enemy then he was with life's, as those could be replaced easily with raids on Goa’uld worlds, including some rather skilled and trained ones, much unlike his heavy industries, whose rebuilding and operation restarting would overall take much more time, then that. Because of this the priorities for Stalin, as well as many of his Admirals, Generals, Governors and Commissars were rather clear in what they needed to do under such circumstances and every local authority figure on colonies and newly liberated world alike was instructed to do the things that needed to be done to either protect their world, or ensure the enemy would not manage to capture their industries and main economy buildings, as most worlds so far had proven that besides a few worlds there was no industrialization and mass production on the majority of their worlds, which meant that if they played their cards smart, they should some day been able to manage to outproduce the false gods, which was why Stalin was confident they could win this war. At least until they at the same time disabled the Goa’uld production worlds, or brought them to rebel and split of, or be destroyed during battles and guerrilla fighting. Therefore worlds like Evenk were so vital for the buildup of the Soviet Union Red Army and the Soviet Union Red Space Navy alike in the hopes that they would someday become strong enough themselves to outproduce the enemy, as they had managed to do on Earth already with the Americans, British and Europeans. At first the Soviet Union had been an agrarian, backwater nation and society, but Communism under Stalin had made it a global, modern power and later a super power second to only the combined Western Alliance, which was why the Soviets assumed they would be able to do the same against the Goa’uld if they kept them rivaling infighting among one another and also used the poverty and dissatisfaction of local human and other species populations on countless worlds to get them to rise up against the Goa’uld System Lord Domains, as well as their overall Goa’uld Empire.
