Wow, that front wing looks gorgeous! The way it folds and the colors, everything is working for that pose XD I like the rest of the body too, nice clear scale pattern with again, those wonderful color choices :3 I think this is one of your best pieces so far, in terms of rendering ^^ The only thing I have a problem with is the negative space on the left side. I think the cool colors, atmospheric perspective, and the simple silhouette of the wing, all make the left side pretty boring. if this were a print without your signature, would it even work at all?
Oh and, not saying anything negative by this, but there's a loss of individual identity with the face turning away like that. So it really makes the viewer focus on exactly what you did best, the dragon as a whole and the detail of light and color all over. In terms of a drawing for another DA user, I think it'd be impossible to crop if someone wanted an icon outta it or something XP Again,nothing bad about that

oh god I'm trying to move, it's crazy >> I've been working my butt off at a job on a ranch, and it's horrible that I have to leave it but they won't give me more hours. I'm also working on a couple huge comics so one day I'm gonna post tons of pages of stuff that'll make everyone drool so much from the beauty they'll die of dehydration

No, I read your question fine. All of the textures I use are regular photographs i saved off the internet and simply placed on top of the image in photoshop.
