Assertive, strong-willed and courageous but may exhibit ferocious and unmanageable tendencies (anger management issues). Kahel bottles up everything until one day she'll explode without any warning. She doesn't accept strangers at first but has a very strong urge to defend those who are close to her. Everything and everyone who belongs to what she considers family, including her friends, classmates, children, cats, ducks etc., will be regarded by as part of "her" family and will be respected and protected. She doesn't initiate conversations with people unless they have caught her attention somehow, which is often misunderstood as aloofness or haughtiness. But if she is approached and talked to then she will.She can be rather dominant toward other people she does not know. Very little is her attention span. She will obsess and be very enthusiastic about something (Usually useless) then it will fade away in time and then she'll look for something new(apart from martial arts). Kahel doesn't have a set goal in mind. She will start on something and probably will finish it or not, but before that she'll start on another thing again and the cycle goes on. Kahel can be quite mischievous as well, often playing pranks on others. She has a complex about her looks as a tomboy but wants to be “cute” as well and often feels uncomfortable and awkward when she tries to act cute.

[Talents/Hobbies]
Kahel learned piano at a young age from often accompanying her father and hearing him play since she was a baby. Her father taught her how to read music and constantly trained her in hopes that se will follow his footsteps. She is good at it that she can become a pro but she never really loved it and felt like it was just duty to her parents. Her interests lie more in sports and martial arts that she doesn’t bother with the piano. Kahel has been training in mixed martial arts since she was 6 when one day she passed by a dojo and decided it was the most awesome thing ever. Her interest in sports only just begun when she entered high school and her years of martial art training gives her the stamina for sports.

[History]
Kahel means Orange in Tagalog and is nicknamed to her by her mother because of her ginger hair. Kahel is the youngest of two children born from a Japanese-Filipino mother and Italian-Scottish father. Her mother is a respected diplomat and her father was a concert pianist. The two of them met while her mother was in Italy and was invited to watch a concerto. Her older brother, Sinta is 9 yrs older than her and is working as a Structural Engineer. Being the daughter of a diplomat, they often move to different countries since she was young. She lived in Singapore, Korea and then the UK. Her father is an accomplished composer and pianist who travels the world to perform on tours. He did solo recitals on different countries and was also invited by world renowned conductors and orchestras. He taught Kahel how to play the piano, but Kahel finds it boring which led her to try doing sports and mixed martial arts instead and got into it.

Kahel lived in Singapore from 1-3 yrs. old so she doesn't remember much of what went on there. Her family then stayed in Korea until she is 7 and remembered loving kimbap and ttoek as a kid, often eating it for snacks. This is also where she discovered her love for martial arts. One day, as they are passing by a dojo, Kahel heard shouts and became curious, dragging her brother in search for it. When they finally reach the source, Kahel was immediately mesmerized by the movements and forms and decided that she wants to learn too. Despite the initial misgivings of her parents, they finally agreed and decided it might be good for Kahel's temper issues. Then they moved to London and stayed there for a couple of years, spending most of her elementary and middle school in England. Her favorite hangout places are Hyde Park and Trafalgar Square.

Kahel learned to speak English and Korean from the time they lived in Korea and the UK. Being born in privilege, she is quite naive about certain things and somewhat sheltered though her mother insisted of her children having household chores as long as they live in her house; to strengthen their character, she says. Her mother decided to move back to Japan and become a speaker and writer of political journals when her father became ill and could rarely go out to play piano any more. Kahel grew up culturally diverse but with not much social interaction aside from her family, so she's still awkward being and interacting with other people. In Japan, they registered their family under a Japanese name for convenience and used her mother's maiden name. They decided to stay in her mother’s birthplace, Wakayama prefecture. Nowadays, Kahel's brother is working for a global contractor somewhere in Tokyo. Her father stays at home, writing music or playing piano leisurely and also tending the garden while her mother is still writing journals and attends political gatherings. Kahel is preparing for her first year in High School.

Kahel's registered Japanese name is Asa so some people calls her that. But to her family and close friends, she prefers to be called Kahel.
