I didn't even need to play sly 3. I just looked Rioichi's ninja Spire Jump Sly got in Sly ONE on youtube!
When Sly Cooper mentions Rioichi's Ninja Spire, Sly says 'A technique HE developed while sneaking into the highly fortified castles of Feudal Japan."

Ah, Rioichi. My favorite out of all of Sly's ancestors. I mean, think about the whole Ninja Spire Jump thing - its useful much more often than some of the other moves. I like how you made his eyes angry without being overly evil (that's hard for some people). I think his clothes are a little too raggedy, though since I haven't read the fanfic, I can't make a valid comment on that point. Personally I think the curve of his hair should be smoother, but hey, no one's hair stays nice for very long in these situations, eh? Overall I really like this piece - it sticks to the Sly Cooper style very well. I hope you do more Rioichi drawings soon, because if this is any indication, you have real talent!

Well hey a Rioichi like.r ^^ Awesomeness. I figured outta all his ancestors, Rioichi would be among the most interesting to write about which I intend to do. This pic was made years ago and I am just about ready to create his adventure. Thanks so much for the wonderful comment. ^^

Can't see the logic behind doing so. How could the Ninja Ancestor be Sly's father? And why sleevius? Rioichi was so much better cause it sounds more Japanese. Throughout sly 1 2 and 3 it's always been Rioichi. You didn't exactly piss me off; but you did and still have confused me.

If you weren't into it either; then why bother telling me? I wouldn't have liked to know anyway!! Oh forget it...personally I think Rioichi is way better; and the only way it can change is if the games change it. Even then, I still wouldn't change it. (Cause the whole concept for Sucker Punch to take ONE of Sly's Ancestors; the ninja one who invented Ninja Spire in FEUDAL Japan and then turn his name into Sleevius and make Rioichi all of a sudden his dad is not only confusing..it's stupid. It'd make less a Sly fan than ever)

Dev Madan's my older cousin's co creator of Sly Cooper: Band of Theives. he's not the true creator and he's probably and dick head anyway- never met him...met everyone sept him and Dan Green...which is suckish cuz he's awesome....but NOOOO do i ever get a say in this NOOOO but he made it up to me and created a wittle something of another.....not gunna tell yah cuz ima stupid effer.

Dan Green is a voice actor for Yugi-Oh. According to the credits he hasn't voice acted in Sly Cooper.
Seriously, Dev's not the creator? I'm sorry I don't buy that. There are articles in magazines and internet sites all over the web claiming he is; and there is enough evidence to show he is.

You cannot say these articles are not legitimate. You're telling me Rickie Sylvers/or is it Sanders NOW would never take credit for the actual job? You know what, you're a mysterious case. I don't hate you but it's hard for me to beleive you too..particularlly when searching for Rickie Sylvers/Sanders name related to Sly Cooper is not showing up anywhere; online or in the credits.
