Description Another of my Middle-earth inspired paintings, a Ringwraith or Nazgul rider on a Fellbeast, scouting for prey from a hillside somewhere in Mordor.

Nazguls are fun, might paint another one, much more detailed

Painted in several layers, no reference used.

Photoshop and a wacom tablet used.

Do not use for any reason without my written permission.

Delightfully sinister; love the way you have the wing come around to get a sense of immediacy. Not a good night to be out if you're a hobbit.

excellent staging / color palette and lighting. the lower part of the cliff (the one in the mist) looks a little strange, drawing too much attention.

Yeah I know, when I paint personal images, I never tend to plan them too much, I rather like to paint what I see in my mind instead of killing time with composition and too much details. I just have to, as there's too many ideas that want to get out

it's a good practise (and that leaves room for other ideas !)

As if you ened MORE reasonto buy a Wii! Just look at what this aweome machine can do to an old Atari 2600 game.

On display for the first time since the 80's... JOUST!

In the beginning of Gaming, it was the haven of te intellect, the puzzle solver, the questioning sci-fi mind because only computer people had them, and only techie people could be computer people. The games were higher quality creatively because they had to meet the demand of higher brow folks.

Today, games are passed out to any idiot with a couple bucks and time to spare. Instead of requiring intellect and tech savie to play a game, today's games are accessible to everyone, including the "Sitcom" person who's entertainment standards are low. "Graphics" sell today's games, people who want pretty things that flash... as an artist you understand abstract is important and not all paintings are super realistic skin tones and hyper accurate portrayals.

*shrug* Once something's mainstream it becomes cheaper.
