Im just loving Lord of the Rings! So much inspiration to tap into...anyway I sketched this out with pencil, copied it and added the gray scale. I then popped it into PS and colored it up.Related content

I've tried to draw Fell Beasts before but for their relatively simple design i just can't get the damn thins to look right XD (let it be said i can draw dragons fine)

hmmm, i really like this painting too, but i also have one criticism of it *gasp* i know... It gives a really great atmosphere, however, it can be improved if you take some hues from the background and apply them to your figures too. Instead of having grey highlights, make them slightly glowing green, to enhance the effect. Otherwise, soooo good!

i really like this one too. i love the way the "fell beast" is kind of perched atop that rock thing with its tail curled around it and its wings apread open. it looks very much like it could be a sculpture that sits on your bookshelf or something, know what i mean? i also really like your choice of colors on this one.
