Description
After drawing two guys in my series of semi realistic portraits of manga characters, I figured I should probably include a female character as well. So here's Kuchiki Rukia, from Tite Kubo's manga BLEACH.

Bleach was the first shounen manga I really got into. Around the same time I set up my account here at DA, and discovered the wonderful world of internet fandoms Honestly, I don't think Bleach is a very well-written manga, per se, but it still has a special place in my heart, for old time's sake. LOL I sound like an old geezer.

I never considered Rukia as one of my favourite characters, but I still like her a lot. She is strange combination of spunk and grace that's surprisingly rare, I think, in anime characters. In my mind, she has a distinctively Asian look to her (unlike most of Kubo's character designs), but unfortunately, I don't draw Asian features very often, so I'm not entirely sure if she turned out alright
