Between applications and an art dip that's only becoming worse, this week'smonth's OTL anime portrait took me quite a while. I'm still not entirely sure if I'm happy with the result, but I'm kinda done looking at it I have to admit, somehow women's faces are much harder for me to draw in this style!

I think this young lady is quite well-known girl, but for those of you who haven't seen the insane epicness that is Gurren Lagann, this is Yoko Littner. Her character design is an oft-noted example of over-the-top fanservice, and while she has plenty of boob jiggles and booty shots (hey, it's studio Gainax, what'd you expect?) she also has a really fun personality with some interesting twists, like most other Gurren chars.
I'd seen screenshots and art of this series every now and then, and I always assumed it wouldn't be my cup of tea. And in a way, it wasn't; when characters start throwing around entire galaxies and smash each other through the friggin' time space continuum, I usually roll my eyes and lose interest, but Gurren Lagann flaunted its manly passion and outright slaughter of science and common sense in such an extravagant manner, I couldn't help but laugh and cry and utterly adore the anime.

All together know: Just who the hell do you think I am!?
