Description
A free "sketch" forSketched on paper, scanned and finished digitally.
Tools used: Pencil, scanner, Photoshop CS4 Extended, Wacom Bamboo A6 Wide.
Well, it was supposed to be a sketch, but, just like ~shadowwolf9 , I couldn't resist so I colored it
Character belongs to ~iwtbaww , so, please, don't use this without his or my permission.
I had a lot of fun making this! Twice I took short breaks to play Guitar Hero, obviously because of the "guitar" part of the work and because of listening to lots of music during the art process.
This is also the first serious digital work done on my MacBook Pro! Photoshop CS4 works awesome on this machine without even a slightest hint of lag.
PS I'd love to hear out want you guys and girls thing about this. Please tell me what did I do wrong and what came out good in your opinion

ItΒ΄s great! Nice colours, and a lot of realism. You get quite good a wolfΒ΄s body proportion, and I loved the feet!.

It looks kind of blurry. I think it's partially because of the fur combined with the way you did the background. Don't get me wrong though, I think the background looks badass, and I like the fur. Maybe if it weren't QUITE as fuzzy...
I LOVE the guitar! Is it supposed to be a bass though? It's only got four strings, but it looks to be the size of a six-string guitar. Minor details... 
Now, for proportions, i think you did a pretty good job. His arm looks pretty huge though, and his right leg looks kinda funky... Can't quite put my finger on it though.
You did a really good job on the paws, hands, and face (especially the face. Great work!)
Over all, I'd say you did a great job. The arm is the main thing that catches my eye though.

Maybe it looks blurry because of the way I did the shading... Without any shadows or highlights it all looked too plain for my liking. I made a separate layer and did all the work there using color picker, blur and smudge tool. I may have overdid the blurring
I confess, the guitar was referenced. I love Fender guitars, so I googled one and traced the lines. It was too late to go back and fix everything when I remembered that ~iwtbaww wanted to be a bass guitarist. So it came out as a typical Fender guitar with 4 strings and without a whammy bar
You're dead right about the overall anatomy though. Now, after a good rest, when I look at it, a see some major fails with that infamous left arm and hind paws

I actually think the hind paws are very good... But yes, the arm could be better for sure. All it needs is a little shrinkage

its pritty good, the only thing that realy gets me with this is that it looks REALY out of focus on the thumbnail. (i think the soloution is the backdrop)
and im no expert on proportions but there is somthing about the hind legs that niggles at part of me... :S
other then that its a realy nice peice!

Thanks! I could have massed up with the hind lags somewhere... The whole thing was done (almost) without a break, so it was hard for me to catch any mistakes when everything was finished
