Jeeze! Is Arabelle's mom a distant Dursley relation? Or perhaps there's a traumatic event from her past instilling within her a bitter dislike of magic. Something involving the creatures of the Blindwood perhaps...?
Okay, I'll stop with the guessing.
Your art style has improved noticibly. The backgrounds are gorgeous and the characters are beautifully rendered. I can see right off the bat the family dynamics. Arabelle's the curious and adventurous young girl, her mom's overprotective (likely for good reason considering the genra of Blindwood) and gramps is easygoing and wants his granddaughter to have fun while she's still young.
Anxiously waiting for more and thants for sharing!
