Tywin was definitely evil, but when you compare him to characters like Roose Bolton, Euron Greyjoy, and the yet-to-be-seen Great Other...he was really more of a disk-one final boss than anything in the grand scheme of things.

A remarkable man he was, with all the alliances he made and secured, the plans he made, and the guarantee of victory for his house and allowing the Lannisters to come on top and win the War Of Five Kings.
Β And pretty much the closest thing the series has to an main antagonist of the series as a whole.

Not for many more reasons than his stoic attitude, his strategic genius and his SHEER BADASSNESS (that's a word, you know). And all of that just makes me hate him aswell!

Great picture, you just got his coldness. This man looks like he has a frozen clock where his heart should be.

By the way, I do think Tywin is evil. It's all very good to play the game of thrones and stuff and be machiavellian and ruthless. But Bronn of the Blackwater is ruthless without being unnecessary evil (the key being "unnecessary"). If your son marries without your consent, flag the girl and punish him. Maybe lock her up for a few days. But Tywin's measures on that point were not a question of ruthlessness, he just went too far. I was so glad that Tyrion was of my opinion, hee hee.

I love your artwork. You truly have captured a good 95% of the characters accurately... however, this one in particular I will comment on to just say that Tywin is wholly bald; the only hair above the neck is his eyebrows and the chops. Also, the shoulder-lions are lionesses.

I don't think Tywin is bad. Why? He is just ruthless, calculating and machiavellian, haha. He really understood what was the game of thrones about, and knew that mercy and empathy were totally out of the question if you mean to survive it. He was the finest player, along with Littlefinger, and he only made a mistake: he didn't count in human passions. Tyrion's passions.

What else can I say? I love Tywin. He is the best antagonist ever. He's got sideburns.
