Quite possibly my favourite character in Fire Emblem: Awakening (alongside Gregor, of course) would have to be Tharja, she's just so dark and moody in contrast with a lot of the other Shepards who are usually quite cheerful and kind... with some exceptions, of course; Lon'qu just doesn't give a shit in spite of his awkwardness around women, Henry is so childishly gleeful at the mere thought of hideous and brutal murder (even his own) and Panne is rightfully pissed at humans for all but slaughtering the other Taguel, but it's definitely the ebony-haired Dark Mage who stands out the most for me amongst the other socially-awkward team mates you collect on your journey

Plus her obsession with making MyUnit/Robin/the player's avatar fall in love with her, stalking them to the point that she's learnt their exact sleep patterns, is hilariously creepy (she even knows your average rate for turning over in your sleep) and trying to act "normal" per their wishes is one hell of a laugh from how much stranger she acts than usual; even her confession scene doesn't let up on her threatening obsession, with a line like "I can't believe you made me love you! 'Course if you back out, I'll murder you in your sleep" reminding you that even considering the slightest of doubts that may enter your head will result in a very sticky end... and Henry will undoubtebly insist on watching every second of it

She's Fire Emblem's answer to the Overly Attached Girlfriend and if that comparrison doesn't frighten you, you just haven't the foggiest what terrible fate will befall you by hooking up with either of them
