Description
Let the American people sing with joy as a New Millenia dawns! And the nation of America leaps forward with grace and gusto into the 2000's! Let us give it up for the Presidency of Matt Marciano and Richard Laledale. In a near total landslide- the New Millennium Party won the electoral and won the election with an un-Presidented 90.86 % of the total popular vote. The remainder went to the Humanists- with 2.03% and 7.11% to Samantha Ibaz and the AEP. The people have sung their song and now it is time to get to the nitty gritty and begin work on making the nation an ever more prosperous nation. . .
A) Earthbound Troubles- The Humanists neglected much of our nation. The farmers of the Plains and Midwest sit untouched and were left untouched during the Humanist years, and now it is time to repay what they’ve given us.
You have 3 options and 17 BP
You have a total limit of 22 BP
(5 BP) Provide New Machines- The farmers of the plains toil in our fields to feed us, the least we could do is alleviate some of their pain by providing them with new tools and machines to better increase the putout and to lessen their stress.
(The farmers of the interior shall receive new toys and trinkets to better themselves with.)
(7 BP) Build up the Plains- Roads and highways are the lifeline of the American population and economy. The Plains however are severely lacking. Dirt roads and highways left to crumble have been the bane of many Plainsmen.
(A new initiative- The Corn Belt Initiative, will be made. It will construct and re-furbish over 200,000 miles of road across the Plains states.)
(6 BP) Mandate Polyculture- Many farmers in the Plains and South complain of dried up soil and increasing expenses paid for herbicides and fertilizer. A few researchers have come back and concluded the problem is American monoculture farming. Thus the answer is clear. . .
(A new bill will be drafted up, all farms larger than 1000 acres, shall be forced to grow 2 or more kinds of crops. While somewhat tyrannical (Morale will move down -1), the profits (+1 BP) and health brought to the earth will be all worth it.)
(7 BP) Southern Silicon- The Southern US, while some may consider it the heart of the nation following the Civil War, has always lagged a bit behind the more industrious North and Midwest. A few start-ups have requested a contract to build a “Silicon Valley” along the Gulf. . .
(Citrus Technologies will establish an HQ in Mobile. From there the South shall become a center of technology.)
(6 BP) Drain the Swamp- Much of the South is inhospitable swampland and marshland home to nasty diseases and insects. To make use of it we must drain it and allow the average Southerner to reap the rewards.
(The Marshes Initiative will start and will continue into 2025 in which it is expected the allotted plots of land will be drained and will be habitable and fit for building and harvesting.)
(10 BP) Americantropa- Folks from the Caribbean and South have given it thought, but after a decade of arguing, have come up with a proposal for an American artificial island between West Florida and Cuba dubbed “Americantropa”.
(Americantropa would take 30 years (2030), to complete. But once done it’d be a symbol of American engineering and could be used as an offshore orbital launch site to allow for less disruptive rocket launches. Not to mention the tourists it’d bring.)
(6 BP) Disease Control- Tourism in the Caribbean states suffers heavily due to many tropical diseases still running rampant over the area. The Humanists have neglected it for years.
(A campaign to wipe out tropical fever, dengue, and malaria across the American Caribbean will be attempted.)
(5 BP) Eyes on the Prize- Zeppelin tours have been bounced and floated around, but never really considered. But perhaps we could give it a shot? Blimps and zeppelins scream fancy, and they use up barely any fuel. Environmentally friendly and fancy!
(The first zeppelin tours from Havana to Guantanamo will be conducted. We will gain +1 BP from these ventures.)
B) Autonomous Annexation- Lick clockwork, the AR’s go through waves of quasi-separatism and quasi-Americanism. And now they’ve come around once again to quasi-American. But how eager are they to become part of the Union?
The 4th Republic of Mexico
The largest of the remaining AR’s, Mexico has had a troubled past but now is relatively stable under the shared guidance of the “Party Humanity”, or the “League of Industrialization”. Mexico has steadily grown and a new wave of American ideas and culture seeping into Mexico. Now seems like the perfect time to annex it.
Mexico needs a ⅔ majority to be annexed.
YES to annex, NO to keep it separate.

Central American Confederation
Made from a bunch of disparate republics with a history of unification and dissipation. Central America is a nation similar to the early American republic in which each state is at odds with one another. Under the federal system of the US, we could keep this relationship alive and make it into a more productive competition.
Central America needs a ⅔ majority to be annexed.
YES to annex, NO to keep it separate.

Haitian Republic
Haiti is often plagued with racial tensions and poverty. Even under recent American autonomy. Haiti is always lower than American averages- and higher in other less reputable averages. It has struggled internally with its own sovereignty and to join the Union and gain the benefits of statehood. Now however, Haiti seems determined to become a state. Or so it says.
Haiti needs a ⅔ majority to be annexed.
YES to annex, NO to keep it separate.

C) Millenia Exhibition- With the 2nd Millenia coming up strong, we must make a spectacle of it- to remember it forever. To make the 2000’s an American era.
You have 3 options and 18 BP
You have a total limit of 22 BP
The Exhibition is at 70 Readiness
(6 BP) Concert of America- A planned concert to showcase American music from the early ‘moonshine’ bands of early America, to the battle hymns of a nation at war and to the electric rock of modern day. The concert will be a showcase of American culture through song over the course of a week.
(The exhibition will gain 10 Readiness.)
(5 BP) Artists Panel- America has made many an art and artists throughout the centuries. Why not show it off and showcase some of the modern artists to see where the future of American art is headed?
(The Exhibition will gain 5 Readiness)
(5 BP) All the Living Presidents- Many American Presidents or their VP’s still remain alive and kicking- or at least have close relatives such as the Genovese family. Perhaps the people could get a kick out of meeting the figures only seen on TV or behind a retinue of Secret Service agents.
(Morale will soar. The Exhibition will gain 15 Readiness.)
(7 BP) Robotics Tourney- Robotics and computer programming has become a popular hobby for many of the youth. What better way to have a celebration of the future than to have a tournament in collaboration with the American Robotics League?
(The Exhibition will gain +5 Readiness, perhaps we could have one of the animatronic Presidents be an announcer?)
(8 BP) Futuristic Monorail- The Exhibition is huge. It is grand, even. Bigger than most parks- if not the biggest. To better serve exhibition-goers we could perhaps build and showcase a monorail to serve the park.
(The Exhibition will gain +10 Readiness, further projects involving railroads and rail technology will be looked on with greater favor following this.)
(5 BP) Party Like its Vegas- To bring in some extra revenue and to spice up the Exhibition, we shall grant the allowance to have Vegas-esque activities on park grounds. It's the end of an era, let's liven it up a bit.
(The Exhibition will gain +5 Readiness. From 2000 to 2002 we shall get +1 BP.)
