Hi there everybody! ^^Here I am with another page of Loyalty, the old wip comic I´ve "resurrected" shortly ago,engaging it as a new story, with a different intention and ending than what I had initially planned ^^
Here at page four, our old Illustrator attempts at fighting back, but is easily subdued by the Garthim-Master, who is far stronger and tougher than she is...an ally shows up, and the dark situation may fold into something different: cards giving a friendly turn on events for the misfit Illustrator!
How will she avoid the situation going from bad to worse? Will the Chamberlain be able-or willing- to really help at all?

(If you like this story well enough as to follow it up, stay alert: there will be new pages coming up every two weeks roughly, depending on how long it takes me to finish up each new page ^^ )

Indeed. finally, new pages are coming in! The story took a turn from its original intention tho- its development simmilar but altered in a sense that it doesn´t convolute over a definitory or big moment but just a small chunk of life and interaction between these skeksis ^^
I hope it´ll be an anjoyable enough small story- the first new page will be coming soon!

Hmmm, tho I could also use more subtle means to dismantle the aggressive fit of those two...

You know it just occurred to me, that SkekUng feels he can probably get away with killing SkekLa because seeing she is not part of the original 18, she won't count. ( I use a similar theory with my fan characters).

I'm in awe of your work, SkekLa! It goes without saying, as I'm sure you hear this a lot but it's truly incredible to me how you are able to convey such strong emotion within your drawings, and on skeksis no less. Everything you produce is so expressive and beautifully detailed it leaves me gobsmacked that you work traditionally (Being that I, myself, suck at traditional art)
The fact that you can do all of this while keeping every one of these guy so in-character makes me feel like I'm seeing canon work instead of fanart. I'd honestly take nearly everything you've produced so far over anything canonically produced for the film since its release

feel immensely flattered to read this from you, Grey One! especially considering the amazing art you create! 
I´m very happy to know you think my art does convey believable expressivity and emotion, trying to imprint that on skeksis is complicated but worthy (it becomes organic after soem practice! expressions even on beaked faces end up working just fine ^^ )
It leaves me in awe to see you think I´m really good (I´m ever striving to improve, there´s a lot to learn for me yet! ^^ ) Trad art is what I´vealways done, I do wonder if I´d be any good at digital instead!
Believe me, if you are that good at digital, I´m completely sure you could be equally good at trad! ^^
If you ever give it a try and practice without giving up, I´m completely sure you´d master it just as amazingly as you do with digital!

Knowing you think my characterisation of the canon skeksis is canon-worthy and keeps in-line with how they were and who they were at the movie makes my heart skip with joy!
I really try my hardest to explore different sides I imagine the personalities of each one of them could have, but try to do it without detracting from what and who they essentially are as characters! If I´m managing that well enough, I can really call myself happy! ^^

I'm sure you'd be equally fantastic at digital, since I believe it's advised to conquer drawing traditionally and then move on to digital art? Which I seem to have done in reverse.. oops Either way, what I previously said still stands and your work really motivates me to continue practising my drawing of less human features. On the matter of your comic I love it wholeheartedly so far and I hope poor ol' La can find solace in Sil or at least find a break from Ung and Na's torments. I can't wait to see where the story leads next

Indeed: tension was completely up, and the Illustrator had started to fear these two fellows would dare attack her even if the Law is against it (who knows what would the Emperor have to say if they´d claim it was legitimous self-defence?...)

I imagine him to be pretty intense- mostly when he´s sided with his powerful and big ally: skekNa is not to tall or big, so he relies mostly on his viciousness to impose himself around, and counting with the Garthim-Master to support him undoubtfully makes him bolder (much to the Illustrator´s disgrace)

Things could certainly take any direction from here: old crafty Chamberlain could choose to either help his ally, or simply not meddle...or even go against her.
With skeksis, some things may seem absolutely uncertain-loyalties nonetheless!

Chamberlain is pretty clever. If helping another serves him, then he will figure something out.
