Description

Living in the walls of dry riverbeds, old burrows and sometimes termite mounts, these creatures are home both underground and in the air. They are used to dry climates and go for along time without food or water. Their wings are more for gliding and riding air currents. the muscles are mostly for digging, as well as its upturned, shovel like nose. They live in big family colonies and are very social. They come out at dusk to hunt for amphibians in the wet seasons, and insicts or small bats in the dry months.
