Oh dear. so...these creatures are as unpleasant as they look. They grow about 3 meters long and are fairly heavy bodied, which makes their movements on land seem sluggish and bumbling. Mostly aquatic, they stalk their prey, often for hours, before going in for the kill. In larger prey, they may actually try to clamp down on an artery and hold on, in smaller prey they usually just use their jaws to inflict as much damage as possible. their tongues can shoot out and pull prey towards them. They do not exclusively drink blood, as their name might suggest. No, their feeding is even more sinister. While they do try to draw a lot of blood, its mostly to weaken their prey. once its immobilized, they will then bite down once more and inject them with a corrosive tincture, essentially liquifying their insides. Once the prey has gone through that process, the Leechdragon will then suck out the 'slushie', leaving nothing but the skin, hair/feathers, and sometimes bones, depending on the size of the prey. Lovely, aint they.

Their stubby second arms are actually atrophied wings. They are not overly strong, but they can be used to help securing thrashing prey. Their bright red underside and markings has been rumored to be an indicator on how much the creature ate/how successful of a hunter it is, but it actually shows the age/maturity of the creature.
