Don't know why they did it like that, but it's not that uncommon to give pets names that doesn't fit their gender. I know a few female cats myself with traditional male neames

Ahaha true ! My cat's name is Orphée. In french, that writing looks and sound like a female name. I couldn't name her Orpheus XD
In the french version of ff8, if I remind well, Angelo became Angel. I think it fits better this way.
Anyway, that comics is just adorable and funny. I love the poses and the facial expressions !
