Gyarados was one of the ones I was really not looking forward to when I decided to do this project. I'm sooo happy it turned out okay.

You made Gyarado look so cool! You made him perfectly. Hes such an interesting Pokemon, lawl.

The pose was pretty staightforward.
I knew as soon as I set about drawing her that I wanted her to be partially under water on a stormy wave. I'm just very happy that she turned out like she did in my head. ^^

Cool! I think you got his face down pat. Gyrados is an old favorite of mine. 
I have one named O-Ryu-Umi. Corny, I know, but also remotely neat. Anyhow, great drawing. The water effects look great.

I'm so glad you like it, Gyarados was really one I didn't look forward to, so many lines to worry about. Don't get me started on water, I had no idea how to do it, so I drew squiggles with the pen, smudged like crazy and changed colour slightly and repeated on about 10 layers.
Mine was nicknamed Suiryudan, I changed it last minute to Leviathan.
