After the clock struck for the new year, I didn't know what I wanted to have as my first drawing. Would it have purpose? Should I do it after I wake up in the morning? What if I don't really have the inspiration?

Then I stumbled upon this adorable music box tune and got the silly little idea of a sleepy beginning to a brand new start.

Then that got me thinking....

We're all going to be a bit groggy after the year we all went through, for better or for worse, and certainly some folk more tired than others could ever be, but the thing about a new year? Is that like space and the stars themselves, its infinite in its possibilities! We can change our views and look to a better future and to a better life than what we know now, we can fix the mistakes we have made or fix the mistakes of others to help one another out! But you don't have to start it straight away. You might want to and I, nor anyone else, cannot stop you in your goal, but take it slow. Its only the first day after all!

So be easy on yourself, you'll get there soon enough, but we still need sleep to get ourselves ready for the unknown. And whether your with friends, family, or even if your all alone in the beginning day.....

Look up to the sky tonight, they may be hiding but you got little beginnings glowing bright as a new day up there, starting the year right beside you, so your never alone~

So take that first step once your awake enough
