Description This was actually a Fire Dragon from the Dark Heaven Legends line of minatures, from and (C) Reaper minatures. (Minature N.O 2717, sculpted by S. Garrity)

It actually has little to do with my Warhammer 40000 hobby mainly because I can't use him/her/it (sorry, haven't decided yet) for anything related to that game... yet at least. But I got the model as it was the only dragon model I saw that was worth less than S$90 in the shop and I'm kinda nuts about dragons.

Last point is why I painted the Fire Dragon blue instead of red. First this is because I kinda like blue better than red. Secondly is due to me having more shades of blue paint than red paint. Third off was because of the fact that fire can be blue coloured.

Kept him/her/it on my featured deviation list from 22th January, 2006 to 12th September, 2006

Anytime!

I adore dragons! Probably above any other creature! (Yes, even humans... well, especially humans. No offense if you indeed are yourself XD) As a matter of fact, my newest creature, Fortè, is a drawn experiment leading me up to drawing the wonderful creatures myself!

Looks great! I have this one sitting in my 'waiting to be painted' group. I most likely won't paint it red either.

Well, not really. It's a hobby for me. This one took ages to paint and I kinda lost the technique for painting it already. The model itself was pretty nice though.

Gorgious. Blue dragons do have a somewhat more calming look to them than red ones, yet still keep the ferocousness.
It looks much more impressive than anything in my collection. How big is this roughly? so I can compare to my dragons ^_^

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Snowfyre In reply to Dark-Kaos [2008-07-30 04:48:59 +0000 UTC]

I guess so.
big? well, it's bout 10 cm long by 10 cm tall by bout 5 wide or so.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Dark-Kaos In reply to Snowfyre [2008-07-30 04:55:07 +0000 UTC]

10cm tall? would probably fit alongside my medium ones then. Still impressive painting on it. Wish I could do that, maybe I'll try getting a plain dragon sometime to paint

Hey, another fine mini! =^^=

Since the miniature is yours, and you are painting it for your own enjoyment, I'd say you have every reason to paint it the way you like it. I own several Cadillac models, and I assure you *none* of them are pink!

But the miniature looks very good! =^^=

Cause
1) blue orks don't work
2) tau I got a colour
3) panzees use flat armour..... so drybrushing may not work too well..... but hey, I think I may be able to try..... least for the model called "Victim 2"
