Description Again another big file.

I pictured this in my head and tried it to make sure it works and it does! This is the way I made my Sailor Neptune glove rolls so that they angle.

Apologies for no pictures for step 2, I only decided to make the tutorial after I had my fabric cut into the arrows.

If you need any help, please ask me and I'll do my absolute best to help you.

Thanks for this! I just added two inches and it works wonderfully for my Sailor Saturn cosplay since it's higher up on the arm

If i was to follow this to make gloves for sailor moon normally, would it still work as they are over the elbow and not being on a slant?

I have a tutorial for the normal ones too. It's probably easier to follow as well. C: [link]

out of all your tutorials to make a sailor scout outfit, how much did the whole thing cost? I am trying to get a sailor uranus cosplay, and I want to compare make or buy

I can't remember exactly because I got the fabric from ebay, but without accessories and the wigs/shoes, probably around €40-50 for the fabric. It might have been cheaper since my green/blue were cotton/wool and therefore cheaper than the lyrca, but that's a rough estimate.

Wigs can be between €20-50 for the really nice kanekalon fiber ones. The gloves were under €10 and the shoes were a lucky buy at Tesco for about €15.

Hiya I really like this tutorial. However I am a bit stuck at the beginning with making the measurements (no idea where the 15 inches comes from) and cutting the original shape (the fold part is throwing me). Any help would be much appreciated (I am terrible at visualising) and thank you for these tutorials you're a life saver

Sorry the 'pictures' in my reply look weird but it's supposed to be two boxes then a slanted box

No problem. The first part is I cut a rectangle (on the fold so it's actually double the width) that's 15 inch long. So it'd look like:
v open
___________
open >|___________|< open
^ fold
15 side to side 3.5 top to bottom

then I folded that in half
v open
______
open >|______|< fold
^ fold
(this would be 7.5x3.5)

Then when cutting to the angles it'd look like this:
v open
______
open >/_____/ < open
^ fold

It should now be two pieces because the side fold was cut off to make the angle.

Does this help any? I'm sorry, I made these over a year ago so my memory is a little hazy.
