In step #5 after you're done stuffing the rows, do you sew through the stuffing over that 2.5 gap that you made? Or, do you just sew the entire thing shut?

i think, after i stuffed the farthest roll (the one opposite the opening) i sewed it closed then proceeded to the middle roll and repeated that action so i didnt have to sew through any extra stuffing. does that make sense?
