I'm so happy. I was worried they would change the character's personality, along with their gender, but I think her outfit choice says it all. Nothing's really changed 😊.

I wonder how the Doctor will react when he, er she, finds out that (s)he actually is a girl this time. If the Doctor's 11th regeneration is any indication, in which he seems to panic when he momentarily thinks he has become a girl after regenerating, then I think he, or she rather, is not going to be too pleased at first.

I usually don't reply to other people's comments, but can I suggest here that I remember Eleven seeming to panic for a moment, but since then, Twelve has spent a LOT of time with Missy? The idea has to have been on his mind. I think Thirteen will deal with it pretty quickly.
Now, the first time she wanders into some repressive past-Earth society and someone refuses to take her seriously because she's female this time...then we'll see fireworks! (And knowing the Doctor, this will probably involve something literally exploding.)

I have a feeling it'll be intentional. There's a huge focus on change, or rather, trying to avoid change, leading up to this regeneration. I think 12 will come to terms with change, and choose to change as radically as he can, and after seeing the master become missy, will follow suit. At one point the master even asks The Doctor, "Will the future be all female?" to which the Doctor replies "One can only hope."

I agree with you guys, I personally think the Doctor might be making this change intentionally too. It makes sense to me since he's been travelling with strong women for the past 50+ years, and seeing Missy's change too might only spur on this change even more.
