I think that thanks to this couple I got hooked to Yaoi. I was 8 at that time and I accidentally saw a flash of Yami and Yugi kissing. Nothing major but it disturbed me at that time (I was 8 remember) but then when I wanted to read fanfictions for D.Gray-man and decided to try reading my first Yaoi fic ever I absolutely loved it. My point is that without that kiss I would have probably not be very fond of Yaoi so although they're not my first Yaoi couple I'm kinda sentimental towards them.
